day & night

There’s something that strikes me whenever I see a picture of someone submerged in a vast body of water.  Something about submersion that I really like.  Perhaps its the thrill in throwing myself into the deep abyss that I love.  Throw myself into the dark unknown and see I what I find; if I sink or swim.  Although I don’t prefer it, I think that’s how I learn best.
At some point I think we all go through a certain phase of life we love to hate.  You find yourself afloat on a boat in the middle of the ocean, being rocked day in and day out by outsides thoughts and circumstances. Your boat is being shaken by everything around you.  You feel trapped by the things happening to you and you want out.  You realize your life isn’t going in the right direction but it’s up to you to take a leap of faith and dive after a life free from that. You may have to struggle against the current with nothing to guide you other than sheer intuition, nothing to back you other than will power, but persist and rest assured you’ll make your way into a life that flows with your true passion and talents.   It’s not until you find yourself in that deep blue sea that you can begin to create that flow for yourself.  Once you take water with your own fingertips and begin to create something extraordinary on a daily basis,  you’ll realize how effortlessly beautiful life can be.
Surround yourself with good things.  Good food, good people, good company.  Find out what’s really important to you and get rid of everything else.  I mean it when I say I don’t have that much patience to go around.  I’m going to invest my life in what I love and nothing else.  Does that really seem that selfish?  To put energy into the things that truly matter to you and rid yourself of all the things that bring you down.
It wasn’t easy.  It takes balls to get out of your comfort zone and plunge into the deep unknown.  It’s a scary place to be, and you’ve got to be prepared to drown perhaps a little bit, but I guess for me it’s just how I learn best.  There in the deep blue waters, I found my rhythm, I used my own hands to create my own current, and learned to live a life flowing with my own strengths and talents.
Sometimes you just got to take the plunge.  Experience it all for yourself.  Shock your nerves a little bit.  Make your nerves fire, get them stimulated and engaged.  Realize the amount of power you hold over your own life and take responsibility for it.
Everything and everyone in your life is there because you put it there there or you won’t take it out.  Everything around you is there because of you made a decision to not remove it from your life.
Get down to the very bottom of yourself.  Stop worrying what everyone is doing and get crazy about what you’re going to do with your life.  Get obessively crazy about your passion and dive at it.  If it’s what you truly love, then I swear your inner biological and neurological potential will be engaged to figure out and put together this thing called life and you’ll find that you were capable all along.
